Headline:
What advice would you give to prospective students?
Content:
We're inviting Anglia Ruskin University London students to share their wisdom with potential new students. Share a piece of advice you've been given or would give to someone about to start their university journey. Whether it was a game-changer for you or a simple tip that made a big difference, we want to hear what you wish you knew before attending university. Your advice can be fun or serious, but make sure it's something you believe could genuinely help someone! Your submission should be a 10-20 second clip of you speaking directly to the camera. We plan to compile these clips into one inspirational video for new students.
Key messaging:
Your submission should aim to help and inspire prospective students.
Think of advice that you believe is essential or would have made a difference in your university experience.
Be authentic and speak from your personal experience.
Goals:
To collect genuine, helpful advice from our current students to inspire and guide prospective students.
To create a montage video that resonates with new students, making them feel prepared and supported as they embark on their university journey.
Quick Video Ideas:
A quick flashback to your first day at university and the piece of advice you wish you had.
Describing a challenge you faced without prior knowledge and how one piece of advice could have changed that.
A humorous take on university life's less talked-about aspects, with advice on how to navigate them.
Share a story of an older student or a mentor who gave you a golden piece of advice that changed your perspective on university life.
